Knut, the polar bear needs a new home!

Knut, the polar bear who currently resides at the Berlin Zoo has to find a new home! According to the zoo, the polar bear is getting to large to house

in their zoo! They said Knut needs more room to roam around and that their zoo doesn't have enough money to build bigger quarters for the polar bear.

The zoo has made a sign - "Polar Bear Seeks Home" for Knut

There is hope, however, that Knut will have a new home to go to. According to
Treehugger.com,

"So where might Knut go? Sweden’s bear park, Orsa, is eyeballing him, and so is an animal refuge in Norway. But there is also the draw of a

potential girlfriend at the Gelsenkirchen zoo."

So hopefully Knut will have a new home very soon!

Warning! Be Careful About What Flea Products You Use On Your Pets!

I called my local animal hospital when my cat was sick and the first question that the veterinarian asked me was whether or not I had used any store-bought flea products on my pet. My answer was no of course because I have just read too many posts from pet owners who have used these kinds of products only to have their pets get ill! So I never have used them.

I prefer to have a vet administer these kinds of products on my pet.

I know that it is more expensive than buy the products in the store but I'd rather have the vet do it and not risk having my pet get sick from the store-bought flea products!

jumping on the bed and meowing wildly as fumes filled the home, the owners
